Buddy and I want to send our heartfelt thanks to you for arranging our Sorrento trip and all the myriad details concerning transportation, drivers, guides, and the hotel. We had a marvelous time and are so pleased with our Summer Italian Experience!
The Hotel Mura is a gem. Perfectly situated near, but not too near, the town center, the front desk staff, groundskeepers and room staffs, breakfast (oh, that delicious scenic breakfast!) and friendly welcoming breakfast staff all worked together to provide us with a glorious week.
Each and every driver we encountered was knowledgeable, safe, courteous and friendly. Luca, our Amalfi coast driver and guide, and our Ischia guide were superb!
Experiencing Capri before Ischia, however, showed how much more we preferred Ischia. Perhaps some day we’d like to spend more time at this place. The slower pace and much less touristy atmosphere attracted us.
Grazie mille for assisting us, replying quickly to our many questions, and helping to make our stay in Italia positively lovely!

We actually had the same driver for our ride from Naples airport to the hotel and for our trip to Pompeii; he was great. Our tour guide, Luca, for Pompeii was fantastic!
Our hotel in Dinan, Le 27 B&B, was absolutely perfect. Highly, highly recommend. The hotel was literally across the street from the entrance to the “old town” of Dinan. The place is absolutely charming and was easy driving distance to Mt. St Michel and St Malo.The emerald and pink granite coasts of Brittany are breathtaking!

We're just thinking back to our Silversea South America cruise now that we're getting caught up with things in Santa Barbara (mainly as a result of the landslide devastation). We enjoyed the cruise and all the part of the world that we hadn't experienced before. It was so beautiful with all the glaciers, icebergs, fiords, mountains, land contrasts, and the penguins! The Muse was a lovely ship with such a contrast of restaurants to choose from, and the great speakers were a highlight. Of course, the most fun was sharing it all with our friends!

The hotel in Venice was in a great location – near water taxis, restaurants and train station. Staff was nice; hotel was clean, well maintained. The only possible downside was how small our room, especially bathroom was. Trust me however, the hotel bathroom size did not interfere with our enjoyment of Venice. It was one of the highlights of my trip. WIFI was ok.
I think our favorite hotel was the one in Florence. The location was great, we walked from the train station, was an easy walk to where ever we wanted to go. Rooms and bathroom were huge. Here my husband could actually turn around in the shower! J Staff was pleasant, helpful; hotel was clean and beautifully decorated. Breakfast here was satisfying and had the local flavor we wanted….
As for the Hotel Alexandra, the location was a beautiful tree lined street – reminded me more of Paris than what I expected in Rome. Was very close to the underground which we used several times and we had several great meals near that hotel. The rooms were clean, small, and somewhat poorly laid out; there were small flights of steps on the same floor which was just an odd layout. Décor was attractive. Breakfast was very nice. WIFI was spotty. Hotel staff was competent
Well, Celebrity Cruises was everything you said it would be. We were all very impressed. Our staterooms were lovely, service was amazing and very personal. Food was obviously plentiful, wide variety and for the most part, tasty. Beverage package worked out very well for us.
All in all, a perfect trip. I wouldn’t have changed a thing.

I wanted to take a few moments to thank you for the wonderful trip you planned for Deborah and me. The Cumberland was a great hotel in a very nice part of London I won't go into every detail but the stay very nice. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic and service was unbelievable. Our tour guide, James Payne, was so warm, outgoing, knowledgeable, helpful, approachable, and humorous. I loved all of the excursions! The Welcome and Farewell Dinners were in nice locales and I enjoyed both meals.
As it was in London, the Pullman Hotel on Montparnasse was in a great area of Paris. I just wanted to thank you again for one of the best vacations I have had!

We just returned home from our fabulous Alaskan vacation! We had a wonderful time and were among the lucky 30% of people to visit Denali Park on a clear day. We enjoyed relaxing on the cruise ship and again enjoyed awesome weather. We truly can't thank you enough for making our Alaskan vacation a dream come true. Special thanks for the Starbucks gift card (loved your note card with the plane on it), the $25 gift (helped us buy goodies in the gift shop) and the fruit and champagne welcome aboard package. So after we arrived in Rome our Marriott accommodations were very nice. It was more of an antique style hotel. The hotel was in the northern part of the City so we took a taxi into the parts of the city that we wanted to see each day. Our first day, tour of Colosseum and the Vatican was amazing. Irene was THE BEST! We loved her and so was so full of information and energy. And with her great personality getting us into the Vatican attached to another tour and getting new tickets was so nice of her. That was my favorite day of the whole trip. But it was HOT!
Thank you very much for helping with the trip. I could not have done it without you and would have been very lost. I have a friend who is going next summer, she is planning her trip, but might get hold of you for tickets, and IRENE! I will keep you in mind for other trips that Mike and I are going to take.

Just got back from Costa Rica and let me just say that once again, you knocked this one out of the park! From the moment we stepped off the plane to the moment we (sadly) stepped back on the plane, the trip was exceptional. All hotels were magnificent, spacious and bright. The staff at all hotels were gracious, professional and always helpful. Costa Rica itself, did not disappoint - The zip lining was like no place in the world, exciting, expansive and just plain fun! White water rafting was an adventure sure to please anyone and we even got to jump in the water and swim a bit! Another one of my favorite parts of the trip was the rain forest. Guess what? It really rains in the rain forest! Haha - the lush, dense greenery, waterfalls and exotic animals were simply astonishing. La Fortuna is such a lovely place to visit, the people there are just so kind and they are all so content. "Life is Good!"
As you know we finished up our trip at the Beach in Guanacoste. Again, absolutely wonderful. We basically had our own private beach - the scenery and ocean were amazing! I spent most of
my time just hanging at the beach, swimming, sunning, walking etc, but you could do just about any water sport imaginable if you wanted to. The rest of my clan chose to hang by the vast selection of pools - complete with swim up bars! To each his own I guess!
Forgot to mention that the view from every one of our hotels was spectacular!
Keep the package you put together for us on file because it was perfect and I have no doubt we will be returning to do the same trip all over again!

We took a second tour today with Bernardo in Florence--great choice for us...what a terrific teacher and historian! He gave us the TMZ historical tour-lots of gossip about long-gone artists and greats. We were riveted for 6 hours yesterday and 2 hours today....and then he sent us dessert at our lunch stop after we said goodbye. What a pro! Thanks so much for making our trip so much better with that advice. We are taking lots of photos-we will bore you completely when we return.

The highlight of the trip was the pousada in Porto. The main building dates from 1790; the salon looked like something from a museum. Walking through the salon and the bar, there is a terrace overlooking a formal garden with a huge fountain, a second garden, and the pool. Then spectacular views of the river. The living accommodations were in the next building and were new, spacious and lovely. Great breakfast included in the price, but the dinner prices were way out of line so we didn’t eat there. We loved Porto: river, ocean, lots of old buildings, port, wine, etc. We may go back one year, stay at the posada and take a river cruise on the Duoro. The hotel in Lisbon was another ultra-modern place: nude female mannequins in the lobby, which was mostly black, as were the rooms. Great location, and all-in-all, quite satisfactory.

As with our last few trips with you all was perfect. We had a wonderful time. I LOVED our hotels!!!!!! One was better than the next. Each location was perfect….within walking distance of everything. Biggest surprise was the hotel at the airport in Munich. The room was very large, the food was delicious, and the service was great. We watched the final game of the World Cup in the lobby with 100 cheering Germans. So very fun and comfortable.
The Budapest river cruise of the Danube was a great way to begin our time in Budapest. It was scenic with a great violin player within a great trio. The drinks, live music, and scenery were just perfect. Our tour the second day in Budapest was also perfect. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable. We were in a smaller van; probably 10 people. However, our Salzburg tours were bigger buses but they were very interesting with very good guides. Also, we rented a car and drove to Hallstat which is a mountain village located on a beautiful lake. It’s only an hour and a half outside of Salzburg. On the way up we stopped in Bad Ischl and had coffee and pastries at the famous pastry shop Zauner.

Oh Pat, We just wanted to let you know how fabulous our trip turned out!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! Our Insight Tour was awesome and would recommend this company to you and to anyone!!! It was flawless....great tour director. We loved our group...which was a mix of another family with kids our kids ages to a couple on their honeymoon and couples who ranged from 50-70's. We had a ball and saw sooo much! great hotels and great food when it was included. Our trip to England turned out to be awesome with my family and just doing the Hop on Hop off bus. Our hotel was in a great location and walking distance to everything. We saw the changing of the guards...a little boring but a must experience with a little excitement with a thief in the crowd right by the gate..... which the police there had warned us about and then an arrest.... and we even saw the queen leaving in her car to top that experience off! The kids have photos of the queen in her hat waving to them!! :) The kids so enjoyed spending time relaxing at my aunts home and beautiful garden and having an English meal with many cakes and a few cups of tea! We watch the World Cup in a pub with my cousins! SO many wonderful memories! Thank you so much for all you did!!

I hope you had a great 4th of July celebration. Terri and I had a great time in Italy. Lidia and Roberta as well as Giusy, were spectacular. They did their best to make sure we had a good time and got to where we wanted to go. The welcome bottle of wine, access to fresh vegetables and lunch supplies started our stay off nicely. The tours provided were also great, Cortona was just how I remembered it, Teri loved it too and the guild we had, Carol was very knowledgeable about the city and it’s history which was nice to learn. We found we did not have enough time there so we went back on Friday night for a walk around, more shopping, and dinner. The day we spent with Matteo was also great, we went to Montepulciano, which was so nice the wine maker and vineyard we visited and had lunch at was great too. The people were so nice, the lunch delightful and the wine and olive oil was also great. We then went on for a ride to Pienza which was a quant town nice to visit and walk around.
And of course the cooking, Giusy and our English speaking friend, Carla were great. They both had such good positive, energetic personalities we couldn’t help but have a good time. They helped us learn about cooking, ingredients and overall local culture. Giusy’s english was not too good but we all made it through just fine. The food we cooked was great and plentiful – (I gained too much weight while I was there – should have done this trip before the hiking trip).
We loved going to reception and having wine tasting – they also make lotion and scrub – so nice Hope they bring that to US as we already want more. It would be good for them to package that in little bottles to have in apartments so guest not only know of it but they can try it out and then know if they want more they can purchase it at reception.

We had an amazing trip! There were so many wonderful experiences. The tours and cooking classes were wonderful. I know that you probably don't get a lot of people looking to go to Parma for cooking classes, but should you highly recommend Academia Barilla. It was so nice to have the private drivers you set up for us and the first class seats on the fast trains couldn't have been better. We both thought that 3 days/nights in each place was the perfect amount. We really got to see everything we wanted to, could enjoy just wandering around the towns, and at that point were looking forward to the next stop. Two weeks was a long time to travel in general (we were both really glad to get back home) but this length enabled us to see everything we wanted to see. We had a blast! Our hotels were wonderful and were in very central locations in each city. Florence was our least favorite city, though we really enjoyed the cooking class you set up for us there. The Starhotels Dupark was huge and very nice. I recommend that chain if you need to use them again. We LOVED Sorrento and wouldn't have wanted to stay in any other city down there. It was a cute town with lots to do at night and we loved that we could see Capri and Positano from there. We ate in amazing restaurants there too (Inn Buflito and a brand new restaurant at Via Pietà 30 Town Centre that used to be called La Stalla). Overall, it was a wonderful trip! Thank you so much for everything you arranged and planned for us. We would have been lost
without your advice. I really enjoyed working with you and would recommend your business to anyone I know that is planning a trip. Thanks again!

I can't think of a thing I would change about out trip. Globus did a great job, from the hotels to the guide to the scheduling. It was a great experience. We would travel with them again in a heartbeat.

Bellagio was a great spot, with water taxi service to anywhere you wanted to go on the Lake.
The other towns we loved were Varenna on the east side of the lake and the western stretch between Tremmezzo and Cernobbio, including Lenno. Wonderful towns with great scenery cafes and shops. Having a car was a must and we got to see everything. We got on a private boat tour which was a must to be able to see all of the villas from the lake, most of which can't be seen from the road, so we got great pictures on that excursion.
They were having the San Giovanni festival that weekend and had the Island closed off as the base for the fireworks. Upside was we happened to be there for that festival which was a fun night and a great fireworks show.
All in all the best trip we've been on in our young lives, thanks so much for all your help.

Second: The visit to Ephesus and Mary's home was powerful. Out tour guide from the ship tour was outstanding. For us Christians Mary's home was amazing and heart felt. The excavations were huge and extremely interesting. Theatres, Condos, Bathhouses, Library, Streets, Brothal, etc. All is extremely well preserved and very interesting.
Thanks to you!!! We had one of the best rooms on the ship due to your efforts, the best location and RC did an outstanding job. Tipping was easy and well deserved.

I had a glorious time in Rome with Alessio - he is really very knowledgeable so it was fun having someone to share great art historical conversations with - we went to some very amazing places so I am so happy you arranged this for me. His drivers that he uses are top-notch.
Please thank him again for everything - it was one of the highlights of my trip, especially St. Clement's church and the underground Roman ruins.....spectacular.
Now for the other stuff - your travel arrangements were so fabulous - I am going to recommend you to everyone I know.
The pizza place you sent me to was so much fun and delicious - I wish I had gone there one more time...really good, just like Naples and the staff was so nice - a fun place for families!
The train arrangements were great - very nice - and VERONA is a magical beautiful place. I really fell in love with that town and walked and walked and walked. Very great combination of Roman, medieval, renaissance, and modern - not too touristy, but full of cafes and quite well-to-do Italians. Seems like a fairly rich area of Italy actually near Lake Garda.

Our tour guide in Rome, Alessio was great. He took us everywhere he wanted to go and had extensive knowledge on everything. He was very eager to make sure we saw what we wanted to and spoke english very well. He was not only attentive to us but also made sure our kids were included too. We all wished we had more time to see more of Rome!
